Most gothic chokers ask you to commit to the whole look. This one does not. It is a narrow band of black floral lace, barely wider than a ribbon, and everything dramatic about it hangs underneath: a fringe of faceted purple glass drops strung the full length of the band, swinging a little every time you turn your head.

At the throat sits an oval cabochon of deep violet, shot through with silver sparks like crushed glass, held in an ornate silver tone rope frame. A single purple teardrop hangs from it in a smooth bezel setting, falling just past the fringe.
