This is the piece for the night you want a little distance. A single strand sits close around the throat: black faceted glass beads and deep purple ones that flash violet and bronze as they catch the light, each pair separated by a small polished silver tone rondelle so the strand reads as beads and metal in equal measure.

Across the front hangs a row of silver tone cone spikes, each on its own loop so they swing free and sit evenly against the collarbone. Worn against bare skin they throw a row of small shadows down the neck.

It is punk in its hardware and gothic in its color - the spikes do the talking, and the purple keeps it from reading as costume.
